Finding your style is a MUST
As I have shared it several times and in different lines throughout this blog, Ring is a world, a universe of fashion, travel and lifestyle; created by a real woman, for real women. It should be noted that I am not an expert in fashion; I do not have the answers for everything, much less the magic formula to always be well and look good. On the other hand, something that has been clear to me since I set out the task and started to develop deeper knowledge and acquiring skills around this social phenomenon that would allow me to be more assertive when it comes to dressing, this mean that finding your style is a MUST.
Finding or defining your style will not only give you the possibility of feeling comfort with your body, understanding why you dress the way you dress, cultivating the potential that you carry by essence, non-verbally communicating your personality and identity, being able to establish that what you like, and also looks good on you; but, it will be the leap to end statements such as: “I have nothing to wear” or actions to buy only for buy and not end up using the pieces that you obtained under this type of impulse, eliminating the myth that you need alarming amounts of money to project a fresh and comfortable image and last but not least cut that lack of coherence between your personal presentation versus your way of life.

“It’s all about feeling confident”
However, setting a starting point to find the type of style with which you can feel the most affinity can be somewhat exhausting and seeking help from an image consultant may not be feasible. I share with you 7 style categories created by Alyce Parsons, even if they are not unique: 1. They are the universal base, 2. They have predominated over time, since its conception by incorporating other elements and factors – both from fashion as well as from other currents of art and of course social – have given way to the creation of new styles or through mergers, derivative styles have appeared and 3. They can be your primary guide to find or define your style and certainly a powerful tool that allows you to flow, polish and perfect your ability and obviously what attracts you.
“Dress for who you are and what you want”

1. Natural: if you characterize yourself as a simple, close, accessible person who loves simplicity and functionality, this may be your style. The key lies in comfort, in coolness, in fluidity, in the basics and above all in an eco-friendly lifestyle and a deep connection with the environment. The colors that stand out in the different pieces are earth tones and neutrals; Natural fibers and fabrics, cotton, linen, and jeans prevail; as for accessories and complements, the favorites are those that are more discreet when creating an outfit or, like makeup, from minimum use or nonexistent.

2. Elegant: when your intention is to transmit security, success, and sophistication, giving a new air to the classic style through elegant garments made with high quality fabrics or what gives this type of appearance, and also modern, colorful and trendy touches, that you place is this one. The focus is on the details, working on a neat image, with great care and looking continuously flawless; keep in mind when closing a look with strength and confidence, that your allies are accessories and complements.

3. Traditional: it is made up of sober and traditional pieces when creating combinations, there is no margin to run any type of risk; on the contrary, they are looking for pieces that create a harmonious, sober set, with classic, clean and pure lines; and meticulously cared and measured to exalt leadership and professionalism and not cross the fine line and fall on the side of simplicity.
Dear reader, if your closet predominates in monochromatic garments with neutral colors, midi or tube skirts, straight pants and a considerable number of suits, welcome to your space, a conservative, formal one, where through fashion you seek to demonstrate security and self-confidence. When building a wardrobe, opt for functional, timeless and high-quality pieces.

4. Romantic: you are in the right style if your thing is light fabrics, pastel colors, A-line skirts, silhouettes that frame the waist and your favorite print, it is composed of flowers. You dream of wearing soft and delicate pieces that highlight your femininity and are accompanied by lace, embroidery, pearls and bows. The hairstyle – where waves cannot be absent – and the natural makeup – exalting the eyes – are in tune and perfectly combined with each of the garments that make up your style.

5. Creative: hello hello! You who are expressive, original, and daring – and don’t misunderstand me, daring because you are so firm and sure of highlighting and showing your personality with the help of your wardrobe, that you seek to create innovative compositions and that usually no one would think of combining. You are willing and not limited to mixing colors, silhouettes, prints, shapes, textures, trends, accessories and complements in the same outfit; keep exploring, it is still so you, you have it so clear that the harmony between piece and piece is not negotiable and that is seen, felt, and understood.

6. Dramatic: the conventional and the norms do not resonate with you, much less the opinions; your personality is strong, sophisticated, and demanding; you are in constant search of modern, different and extravagant pieces. In the same way, you lean towards exaggerated cuts, volumes, intense colors, geometric figures in all their forms, asymmetrical garments and absolutely striking accessories and complements; you are of creative mixes, contrasts, and overlays.

7. Seductive: you love your feminine silhouette, you love to highlight your curves and frame your waist; you get carried away by black, red and metallic colors, as well as animal print, transparencies and / or bright colors; your clothes are usually short and tight to the body, so that you can highlight your most sensual side; at the same time, it is common to come across high heels and necklines, not only for the front of your garments, but also for the back area.
