To be honest I can’t conceive my life without music, it is an absolutely deep connection that not only takes me out of my daily routine, but also helps me to get through the gray days, I have gone through all formats and in each of them I have created the soundtrack of my life, I share with you what is for me today my hidden gem and from where this deep bond was born.

To think about the meaning that this art has in my life is to remember my two great musical influencers, to bring back a flurry of memories and details that few know and which most of them belong to my childhood. Indirectly my dad was one of them, ¨Nostalgia¨ was undoubtedly his favorite place in the world, a tavern in the center of Armenia – my hometown – his beloved business and where he treasured his most precious collection, his vinyls.

The name was perfect, as you walked through the space it became more and more dense, it was a place of dim light, very stylish; its finishes were in wood, leather and velvet, predominantly red and black – a color palette and a mixture of textures very characteristic and in keeping with this type of place. It was closed, not very big, with an imposing corner bar and where the great classics and hits of the moment were played; upon entering, one was immediately struck by the change of atmosphere, one breathed a thick air, a mixture of alcohol and tobacco that awakened the senses, stimulated curiosity, and perceived a feeling of melancholy.

Another wonderful memory comes from my maternal grandfather and the main architect of music always accompanying me. To Carlos Abel, music ran through his veins and was the way to communicate with his beloveds, any family event was the perfect time to sing his repertoire; his greatest frustration was that neither his children nor his grandchildren gave continuity to this passion or dedicated themselves to practice a musical instrument.

Just like my fascination for fashion, art and good food, music has always been present in my life, it is a daily gift for my soul and an ally to find physical and mental balance.
