…And with ¨ Going Back, Going Back¨ I am not here to talk about this famous song and much less about regret or heartbreak. I come to share with you that, in life, pauses are necessary, so that the day-to-day takes us ahead, that shock arrives and forces us to stop when we less imagine or expect it, this process of self-knowledge begins. There also comes that unexpected invitation to review every aspect of life; and -what a delight- it would be able to play crazy; but the more the process drags you, the more we are forced to return to point zero, and we are again faced with the need to leave aside the baggage of life that weighs us down so much and begin to release the burdens.

This has been my process and it has taken me significant time. It has been a time to work on my different facets and thus lighten some of my bags and, fortunately, leave others on the way. I definitely did not want to speed up this process; on the contrary, I put compassion, discipline and a lot of love into it. It was also a mandatory stop to validate that I was moving from my personal interests and tastes.

Talking about Fashion, Travel and Lifestyle came naturally to me, it was a hobby, I felt the need to create: create content for Instagram and the blog, create unique spaces in my home, create outfits for myself, for friends and family or turn a moment that, at first glance, was something simple into a very special experience. Through conversations (with Octavio, my psychologist or loved ones) that, without any encouragement, ended up becoming transcendental reflections – like a roller coaster, I went through moments of joy and others of frustration – I understood that this was not just a passion or an activity that consumed much of my free time, thoughts, or the need to explore and learn more about this world.  I understood that this was my purpose.

I was organizing my life, and, in the process, I knocked on some doors, asked around and came across the purpose of a friend who (little by little I will be sharing with you) invited me to lead a class on trends in jewelry and accessories. Immediately I fell in love and reconnected with what I was doing. In addition, I understood that the pillars of this universe had to be transformed to focus on service.

When taking action and taking the purpose to the next level, the intention – from my personal perspective – is not based on changing the world and much less on solving the problems of humanity (I must be very realistic so as not to become demotivated along the way). My desire with this space and with what may come out of it is to impact a group of women through service and accompaniment and, with my knowledge, to contribute to their formation, personal growth and, of course, to achieve their economic independence.
